The CBSE clearly states in its official notification how students will benefit from the released Sample Question Paper and marking scheme for classes 10 and 12. Here are some advantages to practising sample papers before your board examinations:
- Familiarity with Exam Structure:
Even though there haven't been any significant changes in the syllabus pattern for this year's exam structure, it will still help you familiarise yourself with the exam pattern beforehand. It would be especially useful for the class 10th students who are appearing for their board exams for the first time. These sample papers, which align with actual exam papers, include a marking scheme, number of questions, patterns of the questions, and weightage of long-form and short-form questions. - Analysing Weak Points:
Once you start practising these sample question papers for the CBSE syllabus regularly, you will be able to identify your weak and strong points. It helps you revise and practise more in the challenging areas of the subject while getting even better at the stronger aspects. - Time Management:
If you're one of those who have often found themselves running out of time to complete your exams, then SQPs will improve your time management skills. It will give an idea of which part of the questions take you more and less time, and plan to allocate your time to each question accordingly. - Question Familiarity:
The range of questions included in the NCERT class 10 maths and class 10 and 12 Sample Question Papers 2025 includes short answers, MCQs, long-answer questions or essays. The students will become familiar with different types of questions in different subjects through regular practice of questions before examinations.
