Game developer Krafton Inc revealed that their global game, “PUBG: Battlegrounds” will be free to play in January next year.
Quoted by Yonhap News Agency, Sunday, this game will start a free-to-play mode on various platforms, including PC and console, on January 12, 2022.
Krafton explained that the presence of this mode will allow more people to enjoy the battle royale-style game.
This popular online game challenges gamers to be the only living person in the gaming arena. The game was launched in 2017 as a paid game.
The game quickly gained global popularity, where it sold more than 75 million copies.
