Ou Hao and Wang Jing Chun are collaborating on the latest crime-action drama series, The Fight, which starts airing on Tuesday, May 10, 2022. The 24 episode drama with a 45 minutes duration per episode can be watched online via the live streaming video platform iQIYI or Tencent Videos.
The Fight, also known as ‘The Showdown’ or ‘Through the Darkness’, was directed by Zhou Lin Hao and written by Yang Zhe. This tense drama began filming in November 2020 and finished in January 2021.
Ou Hao plays a young police officer who defends justice, who ends up partnering with a seasoned cop played by Wang Jing Chun. This pair of main players will compete acting with a number of other supporting artists including Ding Yong Dai, Lu Xiao Lin, Zhao Yang, and Xing Han Qing.

The Fight (Piercing Through the Darkness, Chuan Po Hei Ye) Storyline
Wu Jian (Ou Hao) is a young criminal police who is investigating a shooting case in Luoyuan County which is known as the county with the lowest level of public security. The disappearance of evidence from the case made Wu Jian suspicious.
Luckily, there is Wen Lu Yang (Wang Jing Chun), a seasoned criminal police who is very well known. He completely trusted Wu Jian to be a good police and was not the one who stole the evidence.
In order to recover Wu Jian’s name, Wen Lu Yang invites him to join the Task Force to explore the truth together. The experienced police eventually forms a team with Wu Jian, an enthusiastic and straightforward young cop, to solve cases together.
It turned out that the shooting case led them to an underground gangster group that was very influential in the area, the Chen Brothers Group. Even though the truth of the case is beginning to be revealed, the protective umbrella behind the gangster group is too strong so that the two police officers are powerless.
Right at that moment, Director Liu Jian Jun (Ding Yong Dai) offers to help. With the cooperation between Wen Lu Yang and Wu Jian and the higher-ups above them, they tried to dismantle the evil forces that had been entrenched in Luoyuan County for years.
