Meet the thousands of versions of Michelle Yeoh in A24’s comedic multiverse adventure, Everything Everywhere All at Once. The film, directed by the Daniels duo, aka Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, can be seen in selected theatres following its successful digital release on streaming platforms Vudu, Google Play, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube Movies.
Everything revolves around Evelyn, a woman going through midlife crisis in the midst of the impossible task of managing taxes. When she gets the chance to explore the multiverse, Evelyn is opened up to the possible lives of the other ‘Evelyns’, from being a famous actress to a badass fighter. But beneath the awesome side of this new world, there is a danger lurking that she must stop.
The film, which has created a buzz on social media, was praised for its intelligence in executing the ‘multiverse’ concept in a fun way, as well as raising the issue of the identity of Asian immigrants in the US. Beyond the thrill and excitement, the film also offers an emotional core centering on Evelyn’s family. Combining a strong story, fresh ideas, an interesting mix of genres and film styles, and of course the one and only Michelle Yeoh, Everything Everywhere All at Once is a spectacle not to be missed on the big screen.

Everything Everywhere All at Once Storyline
Evelyn (Michelle Yeoh) is going through a stressful time in her life. Her laundry business is on the verge of bankruptcy, her marriage to husband Waymond (Ke Huy Quan) is in jeopardy, her relationship with daughter Joy (Stephanie Hsu) is strained, and her father (James Hong) is still never satisfied with whatever she does. Plus, now she has to deal with an annoying IRS audit officer who’s in charge of her taxes, Deirdre (Jamie Lee Curtis).
But all that changes when Evelyn is suddenly drawn into the multiverse. Recruited by another version of her husband, Evelyn is said to be able to access memories, emotions, and abilities of other ‘Evelyns’ scattered throughout other realities. Therefore, she is tasked with a mission: to stop the evil forces that threaten the existence of the multiverse. Will Evelyn be able to wield her powers and save not only her world, but all the other worlds?

User Review
Everything Everywhere All At Once is even crazier than the trailer would lead one to believe. It’s bursting with so many original, weird concepts and ideas that no serious storyteller in their right mind would ever dare to put in their movie. But Daniels did. And it works with spectacularly effective results. (31 March 2022).
Profoundly deep, genuinely moving, utterly hilarious, highly imaginative and a visual feast. Haven’t laughed this hard, cried this much or thought so deeply about any film in 2022 Much less all in the same viewing. This was indeed everything, everywhere all at once. (2 May 2022).
