Bae Suzy lives a double life based on lies in Coupang’s thriller drama series, Anna. The series that marks Suzy’s acting return is ready to air starting on June 24, 2022, through the Coupang Play video live streaming platform.
After starring in the popular series Start Up and While You Were Sleeping, Suzy is now showing two other sides of herself at once. She plays Yoo Mi, an ordinary woman who likes to lie, until she falls in too deep and can’t find her way back. From Yoo Mi’s lies, Anna is born, a mysterious figure whose life is the opposite of Yoo Mi’s own.
Directed and written by female director Lee Joo Young (A Single Rider), Anna is one of the productions of the South Korean e-commerce service, Coupang. Anna is packed in only 8 episodes which promises the complexity of both sides of Yoo Mi’s character. Rounding out the cast list, Jung Eun Chae, Kim Joon Han, and Park Ye Young will also make appearances as the people around Yoo Mi and Anna.

Anna Storyline
Anna is a mysterious figure who is adored by many people. With rich and handsome husband Ji Hoon (Kim Joon Han), a graceful style and a glamorous life, Anna has an irresistible charm. However, there is one secret that people don’t know about Anna. Simply put, Anna isn’t even real.
Behind the name Anna, lives Yoo Mi, an ordinary working woman. Yoo Mi, who is used to lying, continues to live this fake life of her dreams. Keeping a dual identity, Yoo Mi only has one confidant who recognizes her, Ji Won (Park Ye Young). That is until Hyun Joo (Jung Eun Chae), the spoiled daughter of former boss Yoo Mi, realizes who Anna really is and complicates things.
