Immortal Samsara: Part 1, also known as ‘Agarwood Like Crumbs’, is adapted from the popular novel ‘Chen Xiang Ru Xie’ by Su Mo. Immortal Samsara: Part 1 (Agarwood Like Crumbs) Storyline
Yan Dan (Yang Zi) and his best friend Yu Mo (Zhang Rui), have the ambition to always do one good deed every day by helping the weak. Once, while descending the mountain they met Tang Zhou (Cheng Yi), an honest and brave young ranger. The three of them decided to go together.
On the way, Tang Zhou meets his old acquaintance – Liu Wei Yang (Fu Fang Jun). From his best friend, he heard that there was a place filled with evil forces. While battling evil, Tang Zhou and Yan Dan accidentally regain their lost memories.
Tang Zhou recalled that he was Ying Yuan, the god of war who protected the common people. While Yan Dan is a Hanli fairy who can heal pain. The two had a relationship 900 years ago before have to separate.
Furthermore, the fairy Hanli underwent the stage of reincarnation and became a demon. Whereas Ying Yuan became a demon hunter when he descended into the world. Thus, naturally the two of them immediately became enemies.
